Fundraisers are jugglers by nature. We wear so many hats – from gift entry and thanking donors, to foundation research, submitting grants and managing your development committee. Learn about free apps to help you stay on top of it it all, collaborate easily, and achieve your fundraising goals for 2022 and beyond.
In October we hosted our first webinar to share some of our favorite free fundraising apps.
- LinkedIn – Watch this video on ways to connect with funders as you build donor relationships.
- G-Suite – With a Google account you can access everything that Microsoft Office offers, but for free! Collaborate with file sharing, use Word (.doc) templates to manage meetings and funder research, dynamic Sheets (.xls) to keep on top of reports and proposal deadlines, and simple Forms to measure key data.
- Google search – We’ll give you creative tips for funder research to find everything—and so much more!—that you’d get from a costly paid “foundation database” subscription.
- Zoom – Collaborate with your team and outside experts to achieve goals and share best practices.
- Calendly – Integrate meetings seamlessly into your work and personal calendars.
- Asana – Manage projects, tasks, and deadlines for small teams.
- Beautiful.ai – Create presentations that wow, update them easily, and share the more current version through an easy, online link.
- Canva – Design graphics like a pro.
- Mailchimp/SendInBlue – Automate enews, updates and regular donor engagement.
- Salesforce – Get and set up a free nonprofit database license to grow your individual donor relationships and engage your board in fundraising, plus access tons of free training.
